This chimney needed to come down completely and be rebuilt due to damage, cracking and being unstable.

The customer had asked A. Rowe Roofing and Guttering if there was anything they could do to help stop the birds nesting in their chimney.
The Cowl is fitted to the chimney pot to prevent birds and squirrels from nesting in the chimney. They can also act as a rain guard to keep rain from going down the chimney and prevent wind blowing the smoke from a fire back down into the room below.

Chimney Re-point - Before
If the mortar in your brickwork is starting to fail and you're noticing gaps you will need to get the brickwork repointed. If you don't it can lead to further damage, water being let in or worse, the chimney falling down completely.
